Do Our Spa Packages Actually Save You Money? Here Is the Arithmetic, Line by Line

A spa package is a promise that buying several things at once is cheaper than buying them one by one. It is an easy promise to make and almost nobody checks it in public. So here is ours, checked: every package on our menu, priced against the same treatments booked separately, using the live menu on 24 September 2026. Four of the five save you money. One of them cannot be compared honestly, and we will explain why rather than pretend. And the "Best Value!" label we print on our own menu is, by this arithmetic, on the wrong package.

The short answer

Package prices and à-la-carte prices both come from the same live menu, read on 24 September 2026. Where a package contains a duration we do not sell separately, the à-la-carte column is an estimate and is marked with ≈ — the section below says exactly where that happens and how we estimated.

At the 26,000₫ rate we quote across this site, the savings run from about US$4 to about US$16, on baskets of roughly US$32 to US$89. Every price on our spa menu is final and includes VAT: there is no service charge and nothing is added at the desk.

The arithmetic, package by package

Nghê Special (1,890,000₫, 4 hrs) — facial treatment 60 min, special reflexology 30 min, relaxing full-body massage 60 min, body scrub & wraps 60 min, sauna 30 min. Booked separately, four of those five come to 2,050,000₫ (facial 600,000 + oil massage 450,000 + scrub 650,000 + sauna 350,000). The package price is 160,000₫ below that four-item total, so the fifth treatment is not merely discounted, it is free and then some. Counting the 30-minute reflexology at half the 60-minute price (520,000₫), the honest comparison is about 2,310,000₫ against 1,890,000₫: a saving of roughly 420,000₫, 18%.

Package 1: Full Recovery (1,350,000₫, 2 hrs 45) — relaxing full-body massage 60 min (450,000₫) + facial scrub & massage with mud mask 45 min (450,000₫) + body scrub with Nha Trang mud & steamed salt 60 min (650,000₫) = 1,550,000₫ separately. You save 200,000₫, and the package adds a complimentary 20-minute sauna for two, which is 250,000₫ per person on the menu. Package 2: Full Body Cleanse (1,500,000₫, 3 hrs) — oil massage 450,000 + body scrub 550,000 or 650,000 depending which scrub you choose + 60-minute facial 600,000 = 1,600,000 to 1,700,000₫. You save 100,000 to 200,000₫, again with the sauna for two. Choose the mud or coffee scrub rather than the salt one and the package saves you more.

Package 3: A Simple Full Body Relaxation (820,000₫, 1 hr 45) — foot massage 45 min + Vietnamese herbal or Himalaya hot stone massage 60 min (520,000₫). We do not sell a 45-minute foot massage; the shortest is 60 minutes at 450,000₫. Using that, the parts come to 970,000₫ and the package saves about 150,000₫ — while giving you slightly less foot time than the à-la-carte hour. It is the cheapest way into the spa and the shortest, which is a real virtue on a travel day.

Package 4: To Looking Your Best (1,440,000₫, 3 hrs) — aloe vera sunburn treatment 60 min + facial massage with mask 60 min (600,000₫) + O.P.I manicure and pedicure (550,000₫). The last two come to 1,150,000₫, which leaves 290,000₫ of the package price for the aloe treatment. But we do not sell that aloe treatment on its own at all, so there is no à-la-carte total to compare against and we will not invent one. What we can say is that 290,000₫ is less than any other 60-minute body treatment on our menu.

Where this arithmetic is soft, and why

Two packages contain a duration we do not sell separately: the 30-minute reflexology inside the Nghê Special, and the 45-minute foot massage inside Package 3. For those we used half the 60-minute price and the full 60-minute price respectively — the first is generous to us, the second is generous to you, and neither is a real menu line. That is why those rows carry ≈ and why we are telling you rather than quietly rounding.

One package, Package 4, contains a treatment with no separate price at all. A comparison there would be a number we made up to flatter ourselves, so the table says "not comparable" instead. If we ever list the aloe treatment à la carte, this page gets the real figure.

About the "Best Value!" on our own menu

Package 3 is labelled Best Value! on our printed menu. By the arithmetic above it is not: it saves about 150,000₫ (15%), while the Nghê Special saves about 420,000₫ (18%) and Package 1 saves 200,000₫ plus a sauna for two worth 500,000₫. If "value" means money saved against the same treatments bought separately, Package 1 wins outright and the Nghê Special wins on percentage.

What Package 3 is genuinely best at is entry: it is the cheapest package on the menu and the only one under two hours. That is a different claim from best value, and the menu should say so — we are leaving this paragraph here until it does, and we would rather you read the table than the label.

Which one to book, if you are choosing on something other than price

Arriving off a long flight: Package 1 — massage first, then the scrub, then steam. Beach days and salt-dried skin: Package 2, with the coffee or mud scrub. A short window between checkout and the airport: Package 3, at 1 hr 45. Something to look forward to on a rest day: the Nghê Special, but block out the whole afternoon; four hours is four hours.
