What does a massage near the Old Town need to give you?

If you are looking for a massage in the Old Town, you are probably already in town, with a few hours free, and you do not want a massage to cost you the evening. That comes down to three things: getting there without arranging anything, knowing the price before you go, and being back in the Old Town for dinner. A spa inside the Old Town meets the first by being a short walk away, and with 45 minutes between the shops and dinner, that is the sensible choice. We meet it by coming to get you; the rest of this page is about the other two.

How far is Nghê Prana from Hội An Old Town?

We are on the south shore of Cẩm Nam island, facing the wide main channel of the Thu Bồn. The Old Town is on the other side of the island, along the Hoài River. They are two different rivers, which is worth knowing before you come: the view from our side is the main river, not the Old Town.

From our gate to the Japanese Bridge (Chùa Cầu) the distance is 3.2 km. We routed it with two open routing engines, OSRM and Valhalla, on 13 and 14 October 2026, and use the same figures everywhere: about 6 minutes by car, about 10 by bicycle over the Cẩm Nam bridge, and about 40 on foot. An Old Town spa or a riverside spa: what changes?

Only a spa in the Old Town can offer the walk-in from the street, and we do not pretend otherwise. What the short ride buys at ours is listed below. It is everything we can promise about our own spa, and nothing about anyone else's.

• Published prices. Every treatment has a per-person price on our menu. Prices are final: VAT is included and no service charge is added.
• A couples room with its own jacuzzi. Two massages side by side in one private room, with a private semi-outdoor jacuzzi beside it, filled to order, hot or cold, with no advance booking. For two it is 300,000₫ each for 30 minutes, drinks and fresh fruit included.
• Herbal steam. A private xông hơi steam room with lemongrass and local herbs, listed as Sauna on the menu: 250,000₫ each for two, 20 minutes.
• Your choice of therapist. We have male and female therapists; say which you prefer when you message.
• The river. A quiet lane on Cẩm Nam island, by the Thu Bồn, away from the Old Town's evening crowds.
• A fresh drink for visitors. The 15% spa discount is for guests staying at the hotel; visitors get the free pickup and a fresh drink after the treatment.

How does the free pickup from the Old Town work?

1. Message us on WhatsApp or Zalo at +84 896 687 961. Say where you are (a map pin, or the name of your café or hotel), which treatment you want, and the time you would like to start. If there are two of you, or you want the jacuzzi, say so in the same message. 2. We reply within 15 minutes during spa hours, 9:00 to 21:00, to confirm the slot and when the driver will come. 3. Give us at least an hour. A same-day booking needs 60 minutes' notice, so a message sent at 15:00 is for a treatment from 16:00 onward. 4. The driver brings you to the spa, about 6 minutes by car from the Old Town. Please be at the spa 5 minutes before your time: your therapist is held for your slot, and a late start can mean a shorter treatment. 5. The way back is yours to arrange. The free ride is the one to the spa. Grab and taxis both work in Hội An.

You do not need to be staying with us, and the ride costs nothing on top of the treatment. The 15-minute reply is promised during spa hours only, so for an evening slot, message during the day. What can you book, and how long does it take?

Prices are per person, read from our live spa menu on 6 November 2026, and final: VAT is included and there is no service charge. At the 26,000₫ rate we use across the site, 450,000₫ is about US$17, 600,000₫ about US$23 and 770,000₫ about US$30. Our three facials are 450,000₫ for 45 minutes and 600,000₫ for 60. Guests staying at the hotel get 15% off spa treatments; visitors get the free pickup and a fresh drink after the treatment.

How long to set aside: our estimate is the treatment time plus about half an hour, made up of the 6-minute ride each way, arriving 5 minutes early, changing, the drink afterwards and waiting for a car back. For two: two 60-minute oil massages side by side are 900,000₫, and 30 minutes in the jacuzzi at 300,000₫ each brings the total to 1,500,000₫ for both of you (about US$58). The spa is open from 9:00 to 21:00 every day. Two shapes fit around an evening in town. The first is the afternoon: message around lunchtime, start in the middle of the afternoon, and be back in the Old Town as the evening begins. The second is a treatment after a full day on your feet, when the foot massage, or the back, neck and shoulder treatment our menu calls "ideal after a flight or a long day walking the Old Town", earns its price. For a late slot, ask early in the day, because the 15-minute reply covers spa hours only.

One thing to plan around rather than for: the Old Town's lanterns are along the Hoài River, 3.2 km from us, and they cannot be seen from the hotel.
